"Seduced and Abandoned"
Works by Calvin Ho
With “Seduced and Abandoned”, Calvin Ho's pen and ink drawings (2011-2012) invites us to explore the twists and turns of our desire, distaste, envy, self identity, travel and home.
The works are part of a constellation of ideas at once dense, melancholic and poetic, where the individual elements call and respond to one another, like a landscape at the edge of the imagination, of hope and oblivion, between reality and fiction. Walking the line between surrealism and documentary, the works are detailed and abstract, capturing a mood in what appears to be a fleeting moment in time.
All works are original drawings framed.
